In March of 2002, my two sons felt
they needed a soccer goal at home to help them improve their game. So off
I went searching for soccer goals. What I found were goals that were too small,
too heavy for backyard use, or too expensive for what we would get. I felt
the answer to this dilemma was to simply build my own. However, I had no idea
where to start. I wasnt sure what materials to use, where to get them,
how much to buy, or how to make them all fit together to get the best results.
So I hit the Internet. I couldnt find an answer to even one of my questions.
I spent literally hours searching for plans, ideas, recommendations, etc.
Of course I knew the general shape of the goal but that was it. So I talked
with friends and neighbors looking for my answers. They made some recommendations
and that was enough to get me started. Through trial and error (a lot of errors
and wasted money) I ended up with what I felt was a great goal.
So I now had the goal, but no net. Back to the Internet I went to find a net
for my particular goal. I could not believe how many nets there were and how
far spread out the prices were. After several more hours surfing the Internet,
I was able to find a net reasonably priced that would fit my goal.
Once the completed goal went up in my back yard, my kids and their friends
were ecstatic. As people would comment on how good it looked, the conversations
always turned to making this available to others who may be interested. One
particular conversation led to my first sale of the plans to build it, except,
I didnt have any plans to sell. So I sat down to draw up the plans to
build one, step-by-step. I felt illustrations would help so pictures were
taken to assist with assembly. Then they were checked and re-checked to make
sure I didnt miss anything.
At the urging of several people, I met with a patent attorney to discuss patents,
trademarks, and copyrights. With all of the searches run and applications
filed I was ready to roll out the plans. The PDLV Goal System was born.
What you are considering for purchase is the final result of my efforts. You
have the opportunity to enjoy the same results I have without the headaches,
expense, and time-consuming efforts, all for what I believe is a very reasonable
price. What took me weeks to put together, you can build in about an hour.
It just doesnt get any quicker, easier, or less expensive than this.
I appreciate your interest and hope you feel that the small price you are
paying is worth the time you are saving. If you like the results, and Im
confident you will, please help me by spreading the word about our product.
There is no better compliment than a referral.
